MACs

I wish I had a MAC for my personal computer. I think they are so neat. They do confuse me when I try to use them in the librarys, but there is so much that can be done on them. My friend can create picture slideshows with music so easily on them - and the program is already on the computer! It's amazing. I think they are so useful, especially for those who will need all kinds of programs like that for their career. I've heard some have programs to create music. Whenever i think about computers and all they are capable of doing, I wonder how its possible for a small machine to do so much. And though I've learned a lot about the internet, I still don't understand how it works. But I'm glad it does!

Hi again!

I'm starting to really get tired of my phone. It's old and out-of-date, but I still have another year on the contract. I am so excited for next year when I can upgrade and get a phone that makes me feel sophisticated! I would LOVE to get a blackberry. I have always thought those were so nice and fancy, and am really excited for when I finally own one. My sister has one and it's amazing. I love the ball on them that you use to navigate and it's neat that internet is accssible. but when I think back to how phones used to be, not even that long ago, I can't believe how much they have evolved! It's crazy how much can be done over time and what is discovered, and it makes me question what will come out in the future. What other ideas are there?
Hello everyone!

I still can't believe how many different technologies are out there, for anything you can think of! The one that weirds me out the most are the dating sites. I saw an ad for virtual dating, where you can create your own avatar and date around using your avator, meeting people and going out for "drinks." I think it's a clever idea but I don't think it's something people should take so seriously. I don't know that I would trust someone that I met over the internet on that type of dating site. I think if I were to create an account and try it out, I wouldn't take it very seriously. I just don't think that you get to really know someone online, even if it is over "drinks."

Hi everyone!
The other day in recitation we went geocaching! It was a lot more fun and difficult than I thought it would be. At first when our navigator was looking at the GPS, no one knew how to use it! We didn't think we were going to be able to find our clue, but we finally figured out that we just had to follow the arrow.

The weather was perfect too! I'm so glad, I was nervous we were going to have a down pour. It was really hard finding out clue though, because it was in a bag in the bushes! we were expecting it to be a lot more noticable.

Like I said it was a lot of fun. I wish we had used different technologies other than the GPS and our phone. But no one had anything or really knew how to use anything other than simple texting!
